Llynfi Clean Energy Project is subject to a regulatory review to ensure the design meets rigorous safety, security, and environmental standards. The primary authority evaluating this project will be the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR); in addition, this project will be scrutinised by Natural Resources Wales (NRW), Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW), Environmental Agency (EA), and other relevant authorities. Last Energy has been actively engaging with ONR, NRW, PEDW, EA, and with local and national Welsh and UK officials, and will continue to do so throughout the project.

Our community consultation processes will involve online and in-person opportunities for the public to learn more about the project, ask questions, and provide feedback.
